Phil Sculthorpe

Phil is reportedly the figment of someone’s imagination. He is not. Let’s face it, if someone had imagined him, they would have imagined a person much taller and a lot more handsome. A person easier to sum up too. I mean has he had an erratic trajectory through life, or what? At different times, Phil has worked in the NHS, the music business, theatre, radio and – though, admittedly, only for one day – been lead singer on a musical tour of launderettes. Perhaps the only note of constancy through all this has been his very over-developed sense of the ridiculous.
